Draught at Rogue Kitchen & Wetbar (W. Broadway), Vancouver, 10 ozmcberko (17819) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 20, 2013
Hazy amber color with small head. The aroma is malty, biscuity, mellow, fresh, fruity: sweet oranges, plums, hint of tropical (7.5). Lean mouthfeel; the malt flavor has a mild caramel accent, light residual sweetness, the bitterness is well controlled, there is plenty of orange flavor, but a bit of paper too in the final.
The fruitiness in this beer is original and under the spotlight. Excellent.
500mL bottle, pours a cloudy amber orange with a small off-white head. Nose is full of piney hops, some tropical fruits, and apple. Flavour brings out piney hops, a little resin, some caramel notes, and a little bread. Begins on the sweeter side, and transitions to a dryer, hoppier finish. Definitely preferable to the regular IRA. Very solid fresh hop beer, but nothing extraordinary. DuffMan (10425) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 29, 2015
Bottle. Deep orange with an off white head. Sweet malts, ripe papaya, medicinal crushed aspirin bitterness. Imbalanced, bordering on harsh IMO. douglas88 (9178) - Portland, Oregon, USA - SEP 21, 2015
500 ml bottle. Pours a clear reddish color with a small white head. A big perfume caramel malt nose. I’m also getting a phenolic banana note. The flavor is sharp fresh hops, big malty sweet base, caramel, pine, some sugary notes. Good. Ibrew2or3 (8614) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - NOV 2, 2013
Cool looking Germany style 50cl bottle pours with a clear copper body that supports a fairly tight tan head of foam. The aroma emits dirty socks, orange gummy bears, a touch of malt sweetened cranberry as well as a faint cracker sort of note well off in the background. The taste has smooth malts and sweetened cranberries to faint orange candy to start and then it gets quickly into some nice resiny hop bitterness. The bitter hops have a fruity edge as well as murmurs of dirty earthiness in the background. I like this. It’s different and tasty.

500. Pours a dark cloudy amber with a loose white head and moderate lace. Highly vegetative nose, very plant like, really showing fresh hop notes. Toasty caramel and peppery herbal qualities. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Caramel with peppery herbal danky fresh hop mid palate. Long earthy herbal finish. Great showcase for the plant life. On tap at front door boise. Pours out crisp amber topped with a sand head. Nose is caramel malt sweetness grassy hops. Taste is more of the caramel malt sweetness earthy hops. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - OCT 23, 2013
Bottle: Fiery amber, thin to moderate foamy off-white head, nice lacing. Faint unripened peach/apricot like nose up front, hoppy, slightly citrusy on the backside. Bright fruity hoppiness up front, some peach/apricot as well as citrus bits. Nice and hoppy but not biting, or overly bitter. Some aspects of tea or tobacco leaves on the backside. Body and mouthfeel are moderate to full. Soft hop bitterness, peach/apricot, citrus peel, pith, and tobacco and tea leaves on the finish. Very smooth IPA. Not terribly bright, but very well balanced with lots going on. Enjoyable! JStax (6482) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - NOV 1, 2014
Bottle pour. Pours a copper color with a beige head. Aroma is bitter and grassy and a bit fruity. Tastes like berry forward cotton candy. Medium carbonation. vyvvy (6465) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - OCT 25, 2015
On tap at the brewpub - Pours hazy reddish amber with an off white head. The aroma has rich full toasty malt that’s rich and offset by bright hops that seem almost minty. The taste has full rich lightly toasty malt, bright silveery hops, rich orange, tart apple, melon and candied fruit. The finish has some pine too. Really nice.
