Sampled after Killer Green. Also mild mannered and surprisingly drinkable for the variety. All the notes are there in balance. Recommended. B+

Dank aroma. A little bit of citrus. It smells like a dryer sheet not saying that in a bad way. Clear appearance. Amber colored. A nice thick, frothy head. Great lacing. Sticky texture. Starts really hoppy and finishes mellow. Average carbonation. Very easy drinking beer. poisoneddwarf (2511) - Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, USA - OCT 9, 2015
16.9 oz bottle. Bottled 9/15/15, a little over three weeks ago. Aroma is piney, pineapple, earth, lotion, lemon peel, freshness. Pours hazy burnt orange with a finger of beige foam with decent retention. Taste is medium-level bitter backed by a candy sweetness. Very nice. UXO (1896) - CANADA - DEC 13, 2016

(8/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate-high bitter. (8/10) Palate: medium slightly oily body, moderate carbonation, off-dry lingering bitter finish. (4/5)
Red? Check. Killer? Check. OK, then, that’s that. (16/20) lupulicious (30) - Portland, Oregon, USA - OCT 8, 2011
On tap at DM pub. Opaque reddish toffee color, light head. Lots of loose lace. Beautiful citrus and floral aroma, followed by snappy and restrained malt profile, clean finish. Much more balanced and pulled-together than the Killer Green, a perennial favorite.

Love the regular IRA. This doesn’t have the same edge. Tastes similar to the Killer Green. That’s not a bad thing either. Has a little extra sweetness and minerality to it. vyvvy (6476) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - OCT 25, 2015
On tap at the brewpub - Pours hazy reddish amber with an off white head. The aroma has rich full toasty malt that’s rich and offset by bright hops that seem almost minty. The taste has full rich lightly toasty malt, bright silveery hops, rich orange, tart apple, melon and candied fruit. The finish has some pine too. Really nice. Dark amber in color, clear with a thin head. Nice fresh hops aroma - Citrus and floral aroma and flavors. Very fresh and clean drinking IPA. Beardface (1517) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - MAY 20, 2012
Tap at Bier Stein several months back, from notes. Opaque red pour with bubbly white head. Big floral aroma up front, with lots of citrus and pine and a solid caramel malt backing. Flavor has the same components, but the citrus and pine are dominant this time. Well-balanced and delicious fresh hop ale. cmonster (1000) - Portland, Oregon, USA - OCT 6, 2012
Fresh bottle. Pours dark amber with a short head. Decent retention and spotty lace. Green floral notes dominate the nose, but there is also some fruit and malt. Light bitter sweet flavor. Medium body, soft carb, solid oily, bitter finish. Excellent fresh hop ipa.
