Nice pour but then quickly dissipating head with little retention. Primarily biscuity nose and flavor with some banana flavors. Likely refreshing in the summer but nothing special beyond that.

This is good fresh beer. The palate was particularly cleansing. I drank this on a cold night at home but I bet it would be great on a hot summer day or a "step-up" beer at the river.

On tap at St. Augustine with Ash during Double Mountain tap takeover (thx, Alex, lol). Pours a slightly hazy copper with a tan head. Aroma is fruity and some caramel. Taste is pretty the same with some citruses notes. Quite good.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy gold with medium white head that lssts the aroma is grass and earthy malt. Medium mouth, grass, pine, earth, light bitterness, good.

Tap at some upscale fish place in Seattle. Dudebro waiter tells me that there’s a "kolsch lager" on tap. When asked whose kolsch, he condescendingly explains to me that kolsch is the name of the brewery and that a lager is a light beer. Nice.

The beer is better than the service, thankfully. Fruity for the style, somewhat rich as well. Not exactly a kolsch as I’d imagine it, but I enjoyed my two glasses.

Pours wheat yellow, not much head. Aroma of yeasty champagne, taste is an underwhelming wheat earthy taste. Not memorable.

On tap at the brewpub - Pours hazy yellow with a white head. The aroma has rich pale malt, pepper and a nice doughiness. It has a medium / light body but has a bit of heft and soft carbonation. The flavor starts with pale malt and is richer than many kolsches. There are also some herbs and the finish is dry and woody. Good.
