Draft at Belmont Station: Pours a beautiful cloudy orange with a thin white head. Aroma of honey and orange blossom. Flavor is lightly malty and sweet and has a nice orange/tangerine flavor and tons of floral hop flavor with a bitter hoppy backbone. I have had IPA’s less hoppy than this. This one is all about the hop flavors more than the bitterness though and it makes it quite delicous and easy to drink. Could put down lots of these in one sitting. beerinmarch (2830) - Washington, USA - SEP 22, 2007
Very nice pale ale, really potent floral citrus hops in the aroma. Grapefruit finish, very crisp, but with enough malts to keep the palate from being burnt out. Pours a nice glowing orange with a soft white head. One of the best pales i’ve had in a while. Angeloregon (2055) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 12, 2008
On tap at Green Dragon in PDX--Poured a hazy glowing orange-golden hue with a fluffy small white head. Nice summer quaffability with a great play between the subtle malts and hops. Slight citrus tang and a solid but not pushy malt character. Yum! Oakes (17274) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 21, 2007
Slighty hazy gold colour. Light aroma is woody, grapefruity. Flavourwise, this is crisp, lemony with light wood and grapefruit. It’s brisk, too, barely balanced by pale malts. The brewer’s description reads like this beer is his baby and it tastes like it as well. IndianaRed (4545) - Boise, Idaho, USA - NOV 17, 2007

Draft at the Double Mountain taproom on 7/20/07. Medium white head floats for a short time over a yellowish amber pour. Aroma is grain based with some slight stone fruit and some mild hops. Medium body and carbonation with a crisp, clean palate. Flavor demonstrates good balance between pale malt sweetness and a subtle hoppy bitterness. Finish is softly dry. spikester (606) - Salem, Oregon, USA - OCT 14, 2008
From a growler fill at the brewery.
Pours pale amber with a good-sized white head and plenty of lacings. Aroma is floral hops.
Taste is grapefruit citrus bitter hops. Just enough malts to support the bitterness. Tangy, almost crisp. Close to IPA level of hops. Very tasty brew. I will enjoy the rest of this growler. Due to the reasonable abv, this would be a fine session APA. bitbucket (2165) - Kirkland, Washington, USA - AUG 19, 2007
Bomber courtesy my son! Pours dark amber with a thin off-white head. Medium body and carbonation. Nutty citrus aroma. Lightly sweet taste with a crisp and bitter finish that lingers a bit. BückDich (5464) - McCall, Idaho, USA - NOV 19, 2007
Tap @ Brewery: Copper color, light head and lacing. Nose of light citrus, cascade and lightly acidulous malt. The flavor is sweet and hoppy, light grapefruit and grass, moderate body. Nice flavor; chewy. BiddleBrau (1220) - Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 21, 2008
Golden with thin white head. Nice floral hop aroma. Bitterness hits first but is not cloying. Clean finish, bitterness and carbonation create a prickly mouthfeel that enhances hop bitterness
