On tap at Mount Hood. Poured a cloudy reddish color with a thin sized head. Cherries, some funkiness, and a tart finish. Starts sweet ends tart.

[9170-20170513] 375mL bottle. Charred cucumber skins aroma. Slightly hazy, pale yellow gold body with a quick foamy white head. Sour roasted cherry skins flavour. Medium body is quite sour. Packs a sour punch! (7/3-/9/5/15) 3.9

2017-05-13. Dark yellow body modest off-white head fades. Aroma is interesting. Lightly alcoholic. Mild cherry. Mixes with a not quite earthy woody touch. Flavour is lightly acidic and sour up front. Moderate cherry, lingering sourness. Average bodied palate, softly effervescent carbonation. Dangerously drinkable. Tasty. 7/3/7-8/3/16 Bottle shared by wilco.

Bottle at home, split 2-ways. 2013 vintage. Thanks to kbudd19 for this one! Clear bright golden with a small quickly vanishing white head leaving no lacing. Aroma is of nice funk, mild cherries, buttery oak, light spiciness and herbal notes. Taste is moderately acidic (which is really good for a 3+ years old american sour) with delicate cherries presence, bright funk, buttery oak, spicy notes, light herbalness and yellow fruits. Medium body. Soft carbonation. A bit oily and oak mouthfeel. Cherries finish with light alcohol warmth. The 10% abv is really well hidden. Good acidity level. Nice features from both the barrel and the cherries. Interesting!

Headless golden and unfiltered. Aroma and taste are both tart, but not overly so, with abscorbic acid notes into the finish. Alcohol is well hidden. $3.5/4oz ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours clear golden with minimal white head which immediately recedes. Aroma is cherry and a hint of oak. Taste is high cherry sour, slight lacto sweet, a hint of alco heat, slight green grape sweet.

bottle, your basic clean kriek. Lots of cherry flavors, moderate vinegar like tartness, then some sweetness from more cherries. Pretty nice.

Pale, hazy golden pour. Instant big, airy head fades fast. Tart, fruity nose. Sweet, but not necessarily strong cherry essences. Taste also builds on the tartness. I guess the Rainier cherries lend their own character to this, making it more of a straight up a sour than the traditional kriek.

Hazy light golden under a thin white head. Lovely deep and Belgian sour and blonde malt nose with a light kiss of funky apricots, grass and wood barrel tart funk. Crisp bright flavor that’s sunshiney and tart sour with light cherries and some apricot. Surprisingly clean for 10.3% but it’s so delicious and bright and tart.

Muddy, acetic, light cherry, tart, bit overripe, mellow cherry, apple, light spice , maybe a touch butyric but overall i like this, rustic though it might be.
