THE VAPORIZER is a golden-hued Pale Ale that features a beautifully hoppy aroma and flavor. The malt is 100% Gambrinus Pilsner, our sweet and supple house malt from Gambrinus Malting in British Columbia. The hops are primarily of the Challenger variety, grown on a single farm in the Yakima Valley. We dry-hop THE VAPORIZER to pump up the hoppy goodness. It’s an appetizingly dry, clean and pure-tasting take on a hoppy Pale Ale. Brewed with Gambrinus Pilsner malt and Challenger hops. 6% ABV, 55 BU

Bottle (500ml $4): Very pale yellow. small head. Cloudy. A little bit of a metallic taste, but generally an OK pale ale.

Not what I was expecting. Like a pale lager or something. It is the color of Mello Yello. Smells like grains. No head, tiny bit of lacing. Tastes alright. A little fruity and "zingy". That’s a new term I just made up. Go ahead and use that in your reviews. Not awful, but not something I’d return to, though I wouldn’t turn it down if given to me. I hope that makes sense. Right, then.

Bottled. Toasted gold color with medium carbonation and low head. Aroma is cereal, dry hay, hops, apple and pilsner malt. Flavor is mildly refreshing with some lemon citrus and more grainy cereal. Nice dry hop character but it can’t mask the lackluster base beer that failed to deliver. Come on dsmith4, how can you seriously give this a 5? Gross.

Exceptionally pale yellow with mountains of head. Slight haze. Aroma is yeast (earth, leaves) and hops (grass, herbs). Taste is...really minimal. Bitter in the middle, with a bit of sweetness on the finish. In general, very dry. At 6.0% and 55ibu I expect some flavour, but this is mostly just carbonation...

Murky grapefruit yellow, stark white head.Neutral nose.Lightly tart vague citrus hop profile. Not much here.

reebtogi (6403) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 20, 2014
500ml bottle pours a pale golden color with a finger and a half of white head that settles to leave some nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is floral with some citrus and grass. Taste is a citrusy and grassy hop bitterness with a light malty sweetness. Light to medium body with modest carbonation. A decent pale ale, but not near the best from this region.

bjakk (828) - Skagafjordur, ICELAND - JUL 17, 2014
Yellow and cloudy with thick white foam. Mild metallic aroma with a hint of dry earth. Malt, hint of lemon, with a strong sweet bitterness in the aftertaste, Medium carbon

On Tap at the River Room, Whole Foods, Boise Hazy dingy pale yellow, with a fine creamy white head. Soft pale malty aroma. More Pisner-ish that Pale ale..ish More of a classic citrusy pale ale flavor, lemon and pale malts.

tiong (7754) - Espoo, FINLAND - JUN 7, 2014
Draught @ Blitz, Portland, OR

Pours hazy yellow with a smooth head. Aroma of lemon peel, lime juice and tartish notes. Taste is smooth, juicy and lemony with notes of lime and citrus. Finish is juicy and zesty with lime and lemon notes. A bit strange and unbalanced.
