Never has a beer lived up to its name, this beer has such a dry taste on impact with your taste buds, its an amazing beer, would highly recommend! Davhgbrew (948) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 3, 2013
Pale straw and clear. Sips hoppy and full. Crisp, hoppy, and, perfectly balanced. By appearance you might think it’s a middle of the road pale ale, but this brew has body and flavor. Bartender at lost lake diner in seattle said she loves this brewery, now I agree. Slight grapefruit/citrus finish. Excellent pale ale! Armenian5b (5) - - JUL 15, 2013 does not count
Just a cracking beer with great fruit aroma, nice bitter bite and really delicious. Lovely on cask, bottle and draft. asedzie (828) - San Francisco, California, USA - NOV 4, 2016
Last of the fresh bottles from Fred Meyer in Burien - bottled 9/12/16- consumed 11/4/16. Pours golden with foamy white head. Very big aroma of fresh-picked hops - herbs and spice. Flavors to match - a wash of hop goodness throughout against a mostly dry and very nicely textured soft tasting pilsner malt. Finishes with a bite of bitterness. A great fresh hop ale with very assertive, yet well integrated noble hop-like hop flavors. Another beautiful and quite creative offering from a little-hyped locale that I believe to be the best brewer in the PNW. bhensonb (15253) - Woodland, California, USA - MAY 24, 2013
Bottle from Made in Oregon. Pours hazy translucent gold with a 3 finger foamy white head. Aroma is fruity with a little spiciness. Med body or better. It is very freshly hoppy, but it’s mostly earthy/pungent. But the nose continues fruity. Malt: yes. But not caramel. Light malt. This is very unusual, and extremely flavorful - but not in a hop burn way. Close, but not quite. Delicious.

This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a soft golden yellow color with a nice transparency about it allowing some light carbonation to be seen rising to fill a one finger white foamy head that dissipated in a nice rocky sort of way. Thick messy lacing stuck to the glass nicely.
The smell had a dry piney to speckled sprucy citrus, fresh and bright thorough and a light grassiness.
The taste was sweet and tried to a balance a dry sort of bitterness which actually came out more in the finish. The aftertaste was sticky sweet.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionable aspect to it. The carbonation seemed to be a bit smoother than other APA’s, still good.
Overall, I say this was a wonderful APA. The dry hopping did this beer well. Marheb (5783) - San Diego, California, USA - AUG 1, 2016
