If aliens abduct you with the promise that there will be beer aboard the ship, you just go. This space invader is a tan copper colour with a light haze to it and a lasting, off white froth atop. A great fragrance of pine, pepper, barnyard, caramel and citrus precede flavours of nuts, pine, wood, spice and juicy tropical fruits. Finshes bitter and has a semi-oily, mid carbonated body. Beam me up, Beery!

16-ounce can pours slightly hazy light brown-amber with creamy light tan head and lacing. Aroma: not much, but some faint caramelized brown sugar. Flavor: brown sugar, black and white pepper, rye bread, finishing bitterness from hops. Mouthfeel: medium-bodied. Tasty; nice balance.

Really enjoyed this Pale Ale that was very hoppy and had an IBU of 60. The colour was dark and the flavour did not overpower the smoothness.

473ml can. Hazy deep orange, full creamy beige cap. Aromas of rye, toast, caramel, spice. Flavour is toasty with rye, caramel, spice and bitterness. A nice rye pale ale.

473ml can pours a copper colour with a finger of white head that leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is spicy grains with some caramel and citrus notes. Taste is a citrus hop and spicy grain bitterness with a light caramel malty sweetness. Light to medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, a tasty and balanced brew. Very good. Recommended.

Canned, from LCBO, Ottawa. Clear copper colour, mid sized head. Husky fruity nose. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Husky and somewhat peppery. Astringent with restrained hop aromas. Resiny bitter finish.

mikkopen (1164) - Guelph, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 11, 2017
473 ml can. Hazy brownish coppery colour, thick off-white head, nice lacing. Malty aroma with resiny hops, and fruity and caramel notes. The flavour is sweetish malty, with fruity notes, and a lingering dryish bitter finish of rye and spicy hops. Tasty.

Fruitiness from yeast probably was to warm during fermentation. Nice head. Aroma is yeast as well. Hop bite at end. I actually had an allergic reaction to this beer.

Crockett (1117) - Southampton, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 29, 2016
Pours a hazed ruddy brown/red with a soft thick creamy head. Good retention and lacing. Sweet nose of spicy rye-grass apple, brown sugar, and toasted bread. Good mouthfeel. Lots of peppery rye flavour. Spicy and sweet. Body is medium low, with prickly carbonation. Nutty roast caramel. Traces of metallics, wood, earth, and very faint cocoa. Big cereal backbone, and the medicinal herbal hops play well with the rye. I think the bitterness is overstated, or at the very best balanced with the malt. Finish is filled with mint, which offers a little bit of an unexpected strange chest cooling sensation... because there’s no mint in the flavouring. More people should be playing with rye-beers. They’re always interesting.

Can, Ann Arbor, Mi via Mulmur. Amber gold. Slight haze. Caramel pine aroma. Thick, sweet, nutty with an apple resin finish.

plaugher (478) - Nova Scotia, CANADA - JUL 18, 2016
471ml can. Pours a clear copper with foamy white head, reducing to slight white ring leaving some moderate lace. Nose of caramel, roasted malts, piney notes; slightly sweet flavour, a bit resinous. Only ok.
