Pours clear amber with lots of tiny bubbles all over the glass and a small head that sticks to the glass. The aroma is really soft, I had troubles to detect it, being the tipical pale ale malts with a bit of herbal hops. In the mouth is both flavourfull and delicate, really easy to drink yet tasty and refreshing. Nothing surprising, but really well balanced, to drink one after another. Pleasant surprise!

Draft 0.25l at The Watering Hole Amsterdam, The Netherlands. 16.02.2017. Taste with kermis. Pour it clear dark amber color with medium white head. Aroma bread and cereal with small no head. Taste bitterish herbal, like earl grey tea, light spices at the end, light body, slick feel, average carbonation, bitter.

33 cl bottle served in half pint glass. Pours hazy golden with tan ephemerous head. Aroma is very subtle: just a hint of cookies, soil, and herbs. Taste is watery, low carb, good bitterness. Abrupt finish.

330 ml bottle bought at Bien Jamon’s booth at HKCEC in Wan Chai during HKTDC Food Expo 2016.

Looks: Translucent amber orange colour with a thin ring of dirt-like yeast sediments; Near zero head with residual soapy white foam which fades in 10 seconds; Excellent sticky lacing with barely notable carbonation.

Aroma: Very fragrant Ale malt, with strong grapefruits, caramel, strong floral, molasses, yeast, strong lemon and light sharp grass.

Taste: Mid to light sweet Ale malt, with grains, ashtray, hint of smokes, grapefruits, caramel, floral, molasses, spices, biscuits, yeast, strong lemon, medium bitter hops and grass.

Body: Mid to light body. Thin and dry palate.

Mouth Feel: Fairly good Ale maltyness in a slightly watery background. Strong ashy taste throughout with shades of smokes. Fair and pretty fresh grapefruits backed with caramel and strong floral. Fair sweetness and spices. Biscuity with strong lemon to round. Nice!

Hoppiness: Strong grapefruits, strong floral, strong lemon and sharp grass in nose. Same in taste with spices; Bitterness is quite strong for a lasting, mid to high astringent sweet bitter finish.

After Taste: Fairly dry; Ashy hoppy and bitter to mouth.

Comments: This one’s has a pretty good citrusy hoppiness in aroma and taste. The thin body is more than made up by surprising ashy maltyness. Refreshingly fruity with a mean dry smoky hints. I like it!

hazy orange, large offwhite head. produces a lot of head when poured. very nice very fresh us hoppy aroma, flowers, good malty balance, Flavor is a bit herbal, lots of flowery hops, I understand the beer has a heritage from bitter, but as i see it, it doesnt entirely work out. Still, a very well done beer with care taken with the ingredients, and it does taste quite well. i get a little bit of herbal soapy notes in the flavor, but still it is super nice to drink.
