Bottle. This is what English bottle beers where like before the craft beer revolution.Black, flat and liveless-think it has just been poured into a bottle from a pint glass. No head, no carbonisation and utterly dead to the world. Slightly malty but with very little flavour. No doubt CAMRA would say that this real beer-its not. My first from this brewery and probably my last. edsspoon (905) - Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - JUL 21, 2015
Deep chestnut with a thin light brown head. Aroma of nuts, chocolate, roasted malt and roasted cacao nibs. Taste of chocolate, roasted malt, a little earthy and treacly with light bitterness and a milky finish. Medium body, soft carbonation. rauchbierlover (672) - Berlin, Berlin, GERMANY - DEC 15, 2011
Brown with a small tan head. Full bodied. Sweet, malty with chocolate and coffee notes. A bit smokey, too. Not so much to be considered a smoked beer, though. Easy to drink.
