Meh. Looks terribly cloudy with no head, but smells OK. Sweaty tart berry profile is nice. Taste is a downer tho, super sweet up front with a flat, melted-popsicle finish discouraging future sips. OK for soda-cider lovers.. not a success for me.

Pours turbid strawberry margarita color with a small ring of white head. Apple, cranberry in the nose, somewhat tart cranberry matching the apple flavor, mild spice, honey, smooth finish.

Draft at rivalries. Pours orange with a white head. Leaves trace lacing in the glass. Has some tart cranberry notes on the nose and tongue. Also has some Apple notes. A little on the sweet side.

On tap at Pro Pig. Cloudy grapefruit pulpy pour with no head. Tart delicious mess mixing cranberries and apples skins, some juicy pulp, crisp. Moderate+ carbonation and moderate body, dry with an apple finish that fades a bit as things dry out.

12 fl oz can. Pours hazy orange with with a small pinkish head. Aroma is dry zesty apples. Sweet, apples fruity. Light sourish cranberry note. Sweet and mild citric finish.

Original pink pour w/ no head or lacing. Has a tart aroma. It tastes surprisingly refreshing & the cranberry isn’t overpowering. Good stuff!

brokensail (16633) - Dublin, California, USA - SEP 8, 2016
On tap @ Prohibition Pig. Cloudy golden orange pour with some white foam. Lots of juicy, fresh apple. Some sweet apple juice and baked apple/pie filling. Definitely on the sweet side though there is just a touch of cranberry and acidity to the finish. There’s a general good fruit character here. Might be losing some cred if I say that I liked this one.

This is some yeasty fucken cider, I will tell you that much. It looks like a damn glass of orange juice and smells like bread. This is actually better than most ciders because, honestly, cider just kinda sucks. Yes, French cider. Yes, real cider from England. Yes, ice cider. It all fucken sucks and now that I’ve said it out loud you can too. For fuck’s sake, where was I... This stuff is pretty good for a cider. It tastes like actual fermented apple juice and is a bit acidic w/ some floral notes here and there w/ a bit of sharpness from tannins. A reasonable person could drink more than one can of this stuff. No, really, even though it’s cider.

UPDATED: OCT 2, 2016 Pours cloudy apricot with minor fizzy head that’s gone in an instant. Sweet apple nose with minor cranberry, biscuit, slight earthiness. Palate is fizzy apple with tart citric-cranberry tang, apple sweetness and dry finish. Pleasant.

Draft. Pours like apple cider/grapefruit juice. Taste is pretty standard apple cider but with a nice tart cranberry note over top of everything. Tart and dry. Pretty good.

12oz can from MA. Hazy red grapefruit color, mild carbonation. Cider spice and a little tart fruit. Smooth body, a touch of tart cranberry but more ruddy, sweet apple cider. Not great but drinkable.
