Cask (handpump) at the Wyndham Arms, Salisbury, Wiltshire. I’m guessing this is a variant of Downton Quadhop, with the addition of Elderflower. However, compared to, say, Cheriton Village Elder (now sadly no more), the impact of the Elderflower is very subtle. It has a light, herbaceous nettley aroma but could hardly be described as hugely aromatic. On the palate its quite dry, fresh and clean. More grassy and modestly citric notes. The flavours lack a little depth and the mouthfeel is quite thin. Nonetheless, its a decent, refreshing drop. Very attractive rich golden colour.

Cask (Kitty’s, Helsinki)
Clear yellow, thin head. Dark sticky hop aroma. Also sticky bitter in the mouth, but with sweet, almost floral component, which briefly transitioned (for me, not my g/f) to something savoury, perhaps gravy, and then back to a resiny bitter for the finish. Cask at the Le Gothique Wandsworth Beer Festival on 29 March 2013. Poured a lightly hazy golden colour, with a thin white head. Aroma of herbs, floral hops and raisins. Grassy hop flavours, with some brown sugar and chewy grain. Finish was straw, wheat and subtle elderflower. Towey1989 (2710) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 10, 2016
Cask at The Fountain, Leek. A clear pale golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma of elderflower, some grapefruit, slight biscuit, a little lemon and subtle floral hops. Taste of elderflower, lemon, some grapefruit, slight biscuit, a little lime and subtle floral hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A soft, bittersweet, malty and floral hop bitterness in the finish. A pleasant golden ale, can taste the elderflower all the way through it, however it’s nothing special. Decent. theprof (931) - Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - JUL 23, 2016
Cask. Aroma may have a passing breeze of elderflower but it is easily overlooked and my nose detect toffee. Certainly yellow gold with a thin lace top that breaks but persists. Taste is smooth and balanced with a bready finish on the palate. The readiness with which one can foresee another is more apparent than the refreshment promised but well pitched.

Hoppy and slightly sweet aroma. Golden coloured floral hoppy and a little sweet with some dryness in a lasting bitter and wheaty finish. downender (8584) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - JUN 15, 2008
Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 15/06/08. Pale gold in colour with a short-lived white head. Aroma of floral hops and blossoms. Flavour was sweetish with some elderflower notes and a short, bitter finish. Ok. yespr (44810) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JUN 26, 2009
From cask at Charlies. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Floral and fruity hops aroma. Floral and bitter flavoured. Crisp hoppy and bitter finish. Mild spiced hoppy too. BeerViking (4712) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 14, 2011
Nice golden ale, lots of floral hoppy aroma, good dry malty body. Nice balance, leading to a dry-sweet finish. bobinlondon (1295) - Harrow, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 4, 2009
Handpulled cask at the Bree Louise, Euston. Gokd with a slim white head. Clean tasting and inoffensive with no imposing characturistics. With its lively carbonation it reminded me of a Kolsh.
