Smelled like Pinesol and some hops. Nice deep orange color. Taste wasn’t as piney, but very hoppy. Some citrus. Mouth feel was standard. Tap at brewery.

A very tasty IPA with plenty of good. Lots of hops, but a great malt balance. Pouts a dark golden with a short head. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap @ Downtown Joes. Chill hazed golden beer with some white foam. Pretty mild for a double IPA. Sweet caramel, some orange, peach, and a touch of pineapple. Kind of sweet and...smooth? Sort of a grassy flavor to it and a hint of celery. Bitter pine and grass, but a fair amount of sweet citrus and caramel malts.

Tap at the brewpub. Pours translucent amber with a creamy beige head. Lots of citrus in the aroma. Flavor is mixed citrus resin over decent mildly roasty caramel. Finishes not exactly dry,, but pretty hoppy and bitter. Nice drink.

slightly sweeter and less bitter than most IPAs. Smooth and easy drinking, good but not quite as assertive as hoped.

Draft at the brewery, firm bitterness, big American hops character, citrusy, grapefruit, bready maltiness in the finish

Pours a hazy orange gold color with a quirky dissipating off-white head. Lacing coats the glass. The bouquet is phenomenal. Dried sweet fruit, grapefruit, and mown grass. The flavor is a little less bold than the bouquet, but much the same as what is picked up in the olfactory. In fact, the flavor was a little disappointing after having first gotten a whiff of the wonderful bouquet. Mouthfeel is decent, but a little flattened. All in all, a very good DIPA, but I’ve had so many ridiculously good DIPAs recently that it doesn’t rank well.

Very drinkable, albeit pretty strong in alcohol. I had this at the pub in Napa. My senses might have been dulled by the Tantric IPA that preceded it.

On tap 3(?) oz. sampler at Downtown Joe's Restaurant & Brewery. Clear, bright amber with white head and very good lacing. Aroma of pine, caramel and citric hops Taste of citrus hops, caramel and pine. Medium/light body and medium/light carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This is a very good double ipa very hoppy but not to bitter. I like bitter ipa but the floral flavors are what bring me back to ipa over and over. Had on draft a Joes started out with a small white head and a full amber to orange color. The aroma was just ok a touch muted. What it was missing in aroma it made up in flavor full body, rich and very floral. Over great beer.
