This light, easy drinking ale is about 1/2 wheat and fermented dry. It’s style is an American Wheat Beer. It is very refreshing and is our best selling beer in the summer. It uses Marris Otter malted barley from england as well as English grown Red Wheat. It is hopped with Horizon and US Spalt hops giving it a floral aroma.

Clear and light gold with minimal head. Light lemon aroma likely from the one that I just took off the rim. Semi-sweet with only faint notes of citrus. Not a great example of a wheat.

tap at Dj’s - light grainy taste and aroma with lemony tartness. thin and watery...too bad cause the taste could be pretty nice otherwise.

Keg at the brewpub, 01/02/16. Golden yellow with a minimal off white covering. Nose is thin, light grain, vague citric notes, straw, pale malt. Taste comprises light bread, citric peel, lemon, wheaten tones, cereal, light melon trace. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Nothing in a glass !

Draft at the brewpub. Pours very clear, pale yellow with a creamy, white head. Muted pale biscuits in the nose, faint hay. Light sweet flavour with mild cereal, hints of butter, straw. Light bodied with average carbonation. Lightly papery on the finish, with more cereal. Rather bland. Mediocre overall.

Draft a the the brewpub. Clear yellow golden coloured pour with a thin film of white head. Aroma is subdued pale grains, mineral, grassy. Flavour is composed of thin grains, wheat, chalky mineral, tangy grassy. Palate is dry and chalky, thin, gassy. Highish carbonation. Pretty bad. Bland.

phaleslu (10652) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 28, 2016
Draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear pale gold with a small white head that settles into a ring. Notes of wheat, faint florals, bread, and minerals - just not much to it. Light-bodied, with moderate to medium carbonation and a relatively clean mouthfeel that’s also malty and plagued by the same mineral chalkiness present in all of their beers. Bland but inoffensive.

Draft - Pale malts. Clear gold with a decent white head. Pale malts. Touch of biscuit and a decent finish.

brokensail (16645) - Dublin, California, USA - FEB 2, 2016
On tap @ Downtown Joes. Clear golden pour with white foam. Sort of a bready and crackery malt character to it. Slight biscuit malt note too. Decent malt flavor and sweetness to it. Light bitterness and grass. Kind of your typical light blonde ale sort of beer. Nothing too great about it. But, it’s easy drinking.

VsXsV (4544) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - FEB 1, 2016
Draught at Downtown Joe’s Napa. Clear light golden liquid with medium white head. Aroma of grain, hay, bread and light butter. Taste is light sweet and light bitter with notes of grain, bread and hay yellow. Light to medium bodied with medium carbonation. Very forgettable.
