On tap @ Downtown Joes. Clear orange pour with white foam. Decent raspberry note and some hints of vanilla. A lot of bread, some light lemon, and a decent it of berry. As usual, the token fruit beer at a mediocre brewpub is pretty decent and actually enjoyable. Itís not great, but at least drinkable.

Good aroma but falls flat on taste. Weird bitter hit in the middle. Okay finish. Needs more carbonation and consistency.

On tap at the brewery. Ugh. This one pours a clear golden color with a white head. The aroma is strong with artificial sweetener and raspberry syrup. Thatís all. The flavor is sickly with raspberry fizzy soda water. Weak.

Haven't had too many decent raspberry beers, this one is slightly above average. Pours a nice brown color, with white head. Smells intensely of raspberry, almost a little too candy-like. Taste is the same. Not quite as sweet as some others. A little bit easier to drink, better then most raspberries. Had on tap at the brewery. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap 3(?) oz. sampler at Downtown Joe's Restaurant & Brewery. Clear, rusty amber with white head and fair lacing. Fruity berry aroma. Definitely smells of raspberries, but not totally so. Light, sweet artificial raspberry taste with a hint of grapefruit. Light body and carbonation. This beer brings to mind raspberry flavored seltzer water, but without the strong carbonation. A few lambics aside, fruit beers are not usually my thing. Maybe I'm being harsh, but this one is more fruit than beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at the brewpub in Napa. Mostly clear light orange pour wih a nice white head. Iím a total sucker for the fruit beer aroma - raspberry in this one. Taste is a bit more like artificial raspberry and a tad watery.

I had this at the brewpub in downtown Napa. for what itís trying to be: a light bodied beer with a raspberry flavor, it does a good job.

Had on draft at the brewery in Napa in June. Pours a pale yellow with lots of bubbly. Taste is very very light on the palate, not much flavor, some backround raspberry flavor but not dominating or offensive. I actually found this one to be kinda refreshing given the head and my meal (fajita salad...really really good). Usually I donít like raspberry beers much but this one I found enjoyable since they let the raspberry add to the beer without taking it over. That said, it is kinda watery, but you need that a little sometimes.
