COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This hoppy IPA is high in alcohol and except for the American hop aroma, is very British in style. This style was originally developed to survive the voyage from England around the Cape of Good Hope and back North to India to keep the British troops happy.

On tap at brewpub on 061713. Hazy dark golden with a white head. Aroma has grapefruit, pine, strawberries and light caramel. It has a creamy mouthfeel with a caramel sweetness in the taste, the sweetness is balanced with a grapefruit bitterness.

[US West Coast Trip 2013] Bärnstensfärgad. Frukt, grapefrukt, humle. Rätt kraftfulla attribut. Väldigt välbalanserad, en riktigt bra och fyllig IPA helt enkelt!

On tap at the brewery. It pours a clear golden color with an off white head. The aroma is caramel, strong pine and citrus in that order. The flavor is intense pine and caramel. Full bodied with good strong flavor. Pretty nice.

Nice IPA, I had a pint at the pub in Napa. Possibly not quite as good as the double IPA they also had.

On tap 3(?) oz. sampler at Downtown Joe's Restaurant & Brewery. Clear, amber red with small ivory head and good lacing. Aroma of pine, grassy and citric hops with caramel malt. Taste is similar, although noticeably bitter and more grassy with less pine. Medium body and light carbonation. A very enjoyable IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at brewery. Pours deep orange/copper with off white head. Some soft citrus aroma and earth. Taste is sharp and bitter. Spikes through in mid-palate to disrupt this beer. Not balanced.

Tap - not much head, medium amber color, nice hoppy aroma and flavor with mild malt backbone

On draft at the beerpub in Napa, CA this poured a cloudy gold to amber with a good sized off-white head and good lacing. Nose of citrus hops and some fruit. The body is medium and the mouthfeel almost greasy Slides across the tongue. The flavor is citrus and caramel malts and the finish is long, dry, and bitter. A very refreshing IPA and make you want a second glass. There is a lot to like here.
