COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottled 50cl. Demerara sugar, red fruits, coriander, cinnamon and licorice throughout. Full bodied. Creamy palate. Lovely yeast profile. Warming on the swallow. Yeasty sugary finish with reminiscence of dandelion and cinnamon. Very pleasant. An ideal winter warmer.

I drank this beer several times and I like it. It is not a "cliché" but it is a pleasant one during the cold days. The taste is strong, we smell the alcohol but it is not unpleasant and there is malt, plum, cloves, cynamon and some hop, well balanced, good job, this beer is perfect with "a boeuf bourguignon".

Not my type of beer. And I hate cinnamon. Some I am certainly partial. But this was the Mecca Cola of beers. And I was wishing for a Coke.

Bottle, courtesy of fiulijn. An unclear brown beer topped by a dense beige head. Spiced aroma with prunes and coffee. Slightly nutty. It’s quite alcoholic, with a good bitterness, as well as coffee, spices and some dried fruits. Medium body, nice carbonation. Spiced and bitter finish. A strange one, too alcoholic and not very good either. 110129

Black color; the initial generous head reduces quickly to a thin uneven layer. Mild aroma of roasted malt, but also yeast. Good body strength; malt, caramel and a bit of roasted malt flavor; quite sweet; with some traces of yeast, moderate alcohol perception, very light liquorice. Correct bitterness, and more alcohol in the end. Pleasant but rough.
