[At Fete de la Biere 2004, Lausanne] An opaque black beer with a fine light brown head. The aroma is of chocolate and coffee. The flavor is of chocolate, coffee, and roasted bread before a dry end sets in. A great flavor. The hops used in this one is Nothern Brewer. caribou43 (1193) - Lausanne/Sevilla/Lima, SWITZERLAND - JUL 23, 2015
It is a nice stout. I drank this beer in a bar in Lausanne. The colour is a typical black colour and we drink this beer easily. There is the taste of coffee and malt, bitter and for a stout the hop is strong. We could feel something a bit sparkling maybe due to the hop. It is overall a good beer. Bottled 33cl. 6 ABV. Expiry date: april 2008. It pours a dark brown beer with a quick diminishing beige head. Not much lacework. The nose is of coffee, chocolate, walnuts, mint, manure, white pepper and wood. Lightly acidic. The taste is nicely smoky, acidic and woody with hints of walnuts and lemon peel. Medium bodied. Nicely balanced. Wonderful strong smoky finish with hints of heather, candy, lemon peel and licorice. Deeply pleasant. Flawless taste. Thanks a lot bov for this beer! UPDATED: OCT 13, 2010 re-rate, 10/2010; courtesy of Pierre-André Priamo and the Gab’s crew - dark black beer with a long lasting dark beige foam left; nice lacework; a fair roasted aroma of coffee with notes of vanilla; a medium malt backbone, quite bitter and with a solid but subtle carbonation; moderately dry with pretty long roasted coffee notes - very pleasant and balanced

Chuffed i found a nice stout in fair lausanne. Quite impressive really, doesn’t pack the largest punch flavourwise, but this is a smooth, dark and easy to enjoy beverage. CH-303 (2362) - Fribourg, SWITZERLAND - AUG 21, 2011

Bonne carbonatation .
Bonne stout avec une importante aromatique.
