Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a murky yellow-gold color with a medium sized creamy white head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was a lovey mix of sweet orange, tangerine and bread dough. The flavor flavor was very strong sweet sugar and tangy candied fruits - mostly pear, peach and orange with a strong yeasty and bready undertone and a hint of vanilla cream. Long finish of sweet and tangy candied fruits and just a touch of alcohol showing through at the edges. Thick body and amazingly creamy. Astounding! I was interested when a friend of mine told me about this brewery. All I have to say is......WOW!
This beer pours golden and slightly cloudy with huge aromatics of banana, briar and stone fruit. Very slight bubble gum. The taste is yeast product dominant with orange citrus tones and a dry finish.
The warming alcohol is very well balanced with the bittering, but there isn’t any hops evident in the flavor profile. It’s mostly dominated by the aromas of the yeast and very complex as it ripens with temperature.
I am a huge Belgian fan and this beer definetly meets, if not exceeds, the quality beers coming from Belgium...I think it’s better than Delirium Tremens and Duvel. True, I couldn’t drink it all night, but it’s a darn nice way to start the evening. Nate (4296) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 14, 2013
From bottle. Fruity and subtle sweet nose. Light tripel-like yeasty notes with some orange, vanilla, and coriander. Hazy golden amber with creamy-foamy white lacing head. Medium heavy body with medium carbonation and light warming. Starts and stays sweet with fruity character and notes of orange, honey, coriander, and a bit of vanilla. Carbonic acidity with a fruity acidic note, too. Sweet until the finish with mild hop bitterness and a light lasting fruit rind bitter after. Dregs add more fruity acidity - pops up front, then dull bitterness. Bulk_Carrier (6065) - Vermont, USA - MAY 17, 2017
Bottle from parents, this was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a bronzed yellow sort of color to it. Finger’s worth of white foamy head that fell off at a moderate pace. Slight stringy lace.
The aroma had some banana, peach, vanilla, sweet wood, grassiness, subtle funk/sour, bleu cheese/basement/old sweatsock, leather, light earthiness/dried leaves and ended with a semi-sour to sweet grassy character.
The flavor had the fruitiness meld with the vanilla to lead into the sweet wood. Light herbal quality and bubblegum come in to lighten the funkiness. Aftertaste softened towards the previously mentioned tastes. Finished somewhat funky yet sour with an ample sweetness.
The palate was about medium bodied with a clean sipping quality about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt good.
Overall, what style was this supposed to be? Hell if I know, hell if I care, just damn good. arnold931 (1264) - Iowa, USA - MAR 31, 2016
Bottle. Pours hazy yellow with white head. Nose is citrus with a little vomit. Taste is funk and floral. Okay.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazed opaque gold with a medium sized white head. Soft musk, a bit of orange and citrus on the nose, spicy yeast. Medium bodied, tart and tangy, orange comes through with a hint of vanilla. Light a sour wheat creamsicle, but nothing over the top. Fun, vibrant, very pretty.

UPDATED: JUL 11, 2012 ***FRESH***Bottle. The aroma of oranges hits first - and I don’t mean citrus; I mean straight up oranges - then it fades to a light molasses and cinnamon scent. The appearance was a carbonated pour with a cloudy copper settled glass full, bronze core. One finger of a dense head settled into a silky even film that lasted the length of drinking.
The palate was a smooth medium body, crisp finishing texture. I picked up on the banana custard taste first, a Belgian through and through, which pleasantly moved into a hint of vanilla and finished with that orange flavor.
Very impressive first beer from this brewery. I’ll be hunting down more.
***6 MONTH OLD*** Fairly the same other than the orange note shifting to a peachy note, and the yeasty finish kind of rising a bit sharper. hayduke (5634) - Eureka, California, USA - JUL 16, 2016
