UPDATED: MAY 28, 2017 Very unique sweet deep taste that’s not heavy. Strong stout for its taste. Tesco sell it on the imported food isle. Good price amazing stout. WaddlingPlatypus (186) - Durham, ENGLAND - FEB 14, 2017
250ml bottle. Dark brown pour with a yellowish-toffee head. Creamy coffee aroma with a touch of roast beef. Watery whiskey flavour, along with acrid roast malts. SamVimes21 (478) - - DEC 10, 2016

Deep black colour, creamy beige thin head. Dark fruit aroma. You can definitely taste the alcohol strength in it along with blackcurrants, prunes and a general fruity sweetness. It’s a great stout and well worth seeking out. kathouse (1893) - LAS VEGAS, Nevada, USA - NOV 23, 2016
Nice looking black body with a thick light brown foam. Aroma is a mix of sugar, wood, and soy. Flavor is lightly fruity with only hints of chocolate and treacle. Not much to the finish.

Out of the bottle poured a opaque black with a thin off-white head. I got notes of chocolate, coffee, hazelnut, molasses and cherry. Smelled more sweet than I was expecting. This was confirmed on the palate with notes of sweet roasted malt, chocolate icecream/fudgsicle, and some booze-soaked raisins. Finish was sweet. Body was more thin than I was expecting for the alcohol, perhaps indicative of adjuncts (I see corn syrup listed in the description). Personally, I thought it was ok overall. Wouldn’t drink too many of them, but would make for a nice dessert pairing. mar (5417) - Dallas, Texas, USA - NOV 13, 2016
Black with a khaki head. Nose is dry roasted malts, chocolate, and light coffee. Sweet chocolate ,rich malts, liquid malts, light alcohol in finish. dchad56 (507) - - NOV 13, 2016
Bottle - dark, small off white head quickly disappears. Decent chocolate aroma. Ting on tongue and in mouth. Too sweet tasting, not picking up stout qualities. Aroma better than taste. Saeglopur (2178) - Vienna Woods, AUSTRIA - NOV 1, 2016

Dark brown body, with a big, dense, creamy, lacing, dark beige head.
Aroma of caramel, coffee, toast, dark fruits.
Tastes of caramel, cheap chocolate, sugar, dark fruits, some coffee.
Medium, creamy mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes sweet, moderate roasty, with caramel, chocolate, sugar, slight coffee.
OK. Much too sweet for my liking, almost sticky, not too much Stout character. Still not a bad beer, but propably wouldn’t drink this again.
Bottle. Clear dark beer with light foam and caramel aroma. Tastes lightly bitter and alcoholic with a sweet and dry aftertaste. Medium body with oily, creamy texture, and lively carbonation. Unlikely to drink again.
