Decent beer. I am drinking this from bottle, so I cannot tell anything about color; perhaps dark. The taste is sweet, and quite malty. There is clear aroma of alcohol, and the beer is not complex at all. I can find caramel, and nuts but unfortunately the taste does not develop at all. OK, but not astonishing.

284ml bottle from a convenience store in Epsom. Pours black with a beige head. Aroma of roast malt. Sweet taste with hints of milk and vanilla. Sweet finish.

It pours a very dark, almost black colour and has a slightly burnt aroma. The taste is most unexpected, especially if you are used to Guinness and other dry stouts. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle - only 9.6 oz as opposed to typical 12 oz. Very dark - opaque. Malty aroma with some definite roastiness. Mostly sweet and malty flavor with little roast or hops. OK.

Bottle from Beers of the World. Aroma of cocoa and coffee malt. Unfortunately, it’s completely overpowered by corn syrup.

kalkone (29) - BELGIUM - JUN 25, 2017
Pours a black colour with a small light tan head. A roasty aroma, burnt caramel and malts. Quite sweet, alcohol prominent, some coffee and burnt caramel flavours. Bittersweet aftertaste lies long on the palate.

Pours a black colour with a small light tan head. A roasty aroma, burnt caramel and malts. Quite sweet, alcohol prominent, some coffee and burnt caramel flavours. Some oiliness, thin and no depth in the finish. Not great.

From old tasting notes. Opaque dark brown color topped with a creamy light brown head. Light sweet caramel malt nose. Extremely sweet flavor with a coffee-like character. Full bodied. Some dryness in finish. Bittersweet aftertaste lies long on the palate. Interesting.

BrewWhatIWant (238) - Ontario, CANADA - APR 9, 2017
Pours black with a medium beige head. Aroma is burnt sugar and roasted malt. Taste is sweet with notes of cheap rum, burnt sugar, roasted malt, caramel and pineapple. Body is medium with lots of carbonation. The burnt sugar and hot alcohol are very prominent, but balanced by the sweetness. It works, but it’s not great. It reminds me of Cuban cocktails.

3.3
YantarCoast (1401) - Moscow, RUSSIA - MAR 20, 2017
284ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Aroma is chocolate, light roastiness, dark fruits. Taste is sweet, caramel, chocolate, light booziness.
