Pours nice and dark. Some roast, chocolate and trace of coffee. A nice alternative when at the beach in Jamaica.

Terminus (3739) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - JAN 17, 2018
Bottle Sampled in January 2015 in Ocho Rios, jamacia Port Pours pitch oily black with a nice small slightly fizzy tan head and some nice lacing around the rim of the glass. Smells like dried rasins, dark burnt malts, slight tartness and some syrup notes. Flavors exhibit the dried rasins, dark malts slight tartness and syrup notes. This is a really big beer to be drinking on the ocean in 80f heat. Nonetheless glad i got to sample it in its home country.

From the 284 fl. oz. bottle! Smaller than most. The pour is a deep dark brown to near black with a modest tan head. The aroma is sweet with vanilla bean or vanilla extract but also a kind of cardboard character. Low hop profile. The body is medium and smooth. The taste is sweet and vanilla-like with a mild bitterness to finish. It's enjoyable enough but not my thing.

UPDATED: DEC 18, 2017 Always in the foreign foods aisle at Tesco. Rating is from memory (and a scrawling in my 1001 Beers book), but I can remember it being tasty, although very thin and watery.

0.284 bottle @ Davies Court
Black with a tanned head. Aroma of dark malts, and bread. Taste is sweet, candy, syrupy. Medium, oily, soft. Finish is full of bananas and syrup. Overall, hard to compare, resembles the caramelized banana dessert.

Pours black with thick, dense and durable head. Aroma is brown sugar and caramel. Taste is sugar sweetness, combined with tart cherries. Finish is smooth and creamy. A decent stout.

Picked this one at LCBO part of my bottled beer collection. After a year, I'm starting to feel the end of the possible selection. Tried this one, normally sold in a 6 pack. Slick straight taste of liquor, impressive for a beer. I liked the originality of such closeness. Had this one after volleyball last Tuesday while watching the recap of the Habs-Golden Knights game.

284 ml bottle from local store. Pours black with a fine, lasting, beige head. Lacing present. Aroma is roasted, marzipan, slight cocoa. Taste starts very sweet, berries, sugar, caramel, then roasted notes kick in, finish is bitter coffee-like. Oily texture, medium-carbonation, easy to drink for a 7.5%. Not bad, but too sweet for me.

UPDATED: OCT 29, 2017 284ml from bottle bought at Tesco. Aroma to cocoa and burnt caramel, strong flavour with a slight touch to alcohol.

macca147 (736) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - OCT 21, 2017
284ml bottle. Pours an ink black with a solid tan head. Aroma: bitter cocoa, roasted malt notes. Mild funkiness on the nose. Not a pleasant aroma. Taste: roasted malt, bitter cocoa, cream, brown sugar flavours. Medium body. Moderate to high sweetness. This beer is ok, not particularly complex or well balanced. It is a bit sickly sweet.
