On tap at Dragonmead Brewpub. Amber with a medium tan head. Aroma is a mix of caramel and floral hops. Taste of light toffee, floral hops and mild tannins and esters. Bitterness on the low side.

Draft - Earthy and grapefruit hops with pale malts. Clear gold with a decent white head. Earthy bittering hops and some pale malts.

Tap: unfiltered, rustic golden-amber body with a very thin layer of white foam on tap thats gone within just a few moments. Aroma is kind of nebulous, hard to discern anything specific. Some floral notes, hint of grapefruit, maybe some orange zest. Id say its even more malty than anything... Almost caramel-y. You can smell the Munich malts. You can taste them, too. Sweet up front with a light induction of grapefruit, ashy hops, & some zesty orange rind in the finish. Caramel, toasted bread, & Munich malts abound. Not what I typically enjoy in an IPA... this one is just okay. Not awful, just okay.

gonzosauce (157) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - MAR 14, 2013
A floral, subdued aroma. Very light in appearance; minimal head. Mild, but very comfortable, satisfying IPA. Overall, pleasant, but underhanded.

rumproasts (5339) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - JUN 23, 2012
Amber with minimal head. Bitter with faint mild hops and very low carbonation. IPA in name only.

strongpieman (1651) - Mount Airy, Maryland, USA - DEC 29, 2011
Draft. Aroma is hoppy more towards the grass. Thin head, deep amber color. Bitter taste but seems a little off.

chibuck (3513) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 22, 2011
draft... a really substandard ipa not worth trying, tasted a bit old but that was only one of their problems

JaBier (7806) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - AUG 2, 2011
Sample at Dragonmead on 7/23/11. Pours amber in color with a medium beige head. Hoppy aroma that is dank, grassy and earthy. Grain and corn flavor with a dank earthy hop finish.

JoeMcPhee (9426) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 3, 2010
Tap at Dragonmead. Deep amber, slightly hazy pour. The nose is dull with a soft fruitiness. Light orangey cascade hops. Light worty sweetness along with a touch of astringency on the back. Not really hoppy at all... ugh.

zdk (1917) - New York, New York, USA - SEP 6, 2010
Tap @ Dragonmead - sweet burnt toffee and caramel. Not sure how this is an IPA. Sweet and murky but hardly any dry hopping to speak of.
