flatmatt (1604) - Northville, Michigan, USA - FEB 13, 2015
On tap at PJ’s Lager House in Detroit. Butterscotch and caramel malt aroma. Toasty malt and caramel flavor, still has a bit of butterscotch. Okay, not great.

hopdog (12953) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 26, 2011
On tap at Dragonmead. Poured a copper color with a small sized head. Caramel with some floral hops.

hopscotch (11182) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - AUG 10, 2010
Nitro… RBSG 2010… Lightly hazy, dirty orange ale with a small, creamy, off-white head. Fantastic retention… lasts for-almost-ever. The nose is of cookie, tea biscuit, toffee, caramel and all other things sweet and English. Full-bodied with a silky mouthfeel and supple carbonation. The flavor provides sweet toffee, mild caramel and brown sugar with only a pinch of hop bitterness to temper, but not nullify, the sweet malts. Brown sugar, dark syrup finish.

Had this at Slow’s awhile back. Nice deep red, fairly bitter. Nice beer, though I prefer the Juggernaut now that I’ve tried it. Goes well with BBQ!

On tap at Dragonmead 3-13-09. Murky red color with very little head. Smelled lightly fruity and perfumy. Tasted of molasses, red wine, grassy hops. Light body and long sweet aftertaste.

flemdawg (563) - Rowlett, Texas, USA - AUG 24, 2004
Had this on cask, I don't know if that means I should enter it differently, but oh well. Clear red body and a thin head of small off white bubbles. A hoppy aroma with some fresh red grapes. Some hints of a hop bitterness, but there is some sweetness in there too. Also got a hint of alcohol near the finish. A long finish as well. Verry easy to drink.

hotstuff (5233) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - MAY 15, 2004
On tap at Dragonmead Brewery. A small sized ivory head with fine-large sized bubbles that mostly dissipated. Uncarbonated, transparent and a red hue. The aroma was malty, sweet and hops. The flavor was too hoppy for my taste from start to finish. The mouthfeel was tingly and hoppy. The lacing was good.

thedm (6309) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - MAY 14, 2004
This draft brew from the brewery poured a large sized head of fine to medium sized light brown colored mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a fair lacing. The body was uncarbonated transparent and copper colored. The aroma was malty and hoppy with the hops dominating the malts. The mouth feel was hoppy from start to finish. The flavor contained biting hops with a very mild malt content. The hops gave me the beer shivers! Now that’s hoppy!
