COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is the ultimate Belgian style. The very high gravity of this beer is balanced by the smoothness of its finish. Banana and Clove aromas come from the Belgian yeast strain combining with the generous dose of Belgian Candi Sugar. The Saaz hops help to give this beer a balanced bitterness with no noticeable hop aroma.

On tap, pours a golden yellow with a thin head, the aroma is has quite abit of fruit, more than I was expecting, nice banana and clove with some booze coming through too, the flavor has fruit on the front end with some alcohol Belgian yeast in the finish, dry finish overall, booze is well hidden, actually not that bad.

On tap at brewery. Small line of head throughout pour. Clear yellow gold. Oddly, a slight nose of corn with sugar. Great Belgian sweetness of candied fruit and brown sugar without being cloying.

UPDATED: JAN 1, 2014 This is one of my favorite tripels. Even people that don’t like good beer will love this. I’ve had a number of tripels from different breweries but this is by far the best. Get it on tap if you can. The aroma and palate are incredible. It is a must try.

Light golden yellow color, similar to ginger ale, and no head. Has a sugary aroma and a sweet honey yeasty flavor. Goes down smooth. Quite good.

Banana is very relevant in the aroma mixed with slight clove. Very smooth and balanced. Belgian yeast, alcohol and banana are rich in taste. The best tripple I’ve had thus far.

Draft to taster. Looks good for the style; a slightly hazy gold with white lacing. Smells of Belgian yeast, banana, and clove with a fairly sweet backbone. Tastes like it smells, only more robust. Solid on the palate. A solid example of the style.

No head, not much in the way of aromas, but banana, clove, bubblegum, and citrusy flavors, very pleasing. Really enjoyed this one

On tap at Ashley’s Ann Arbor. Hazy golden with white foam that leaves rings. Aroma is banana, bubblegum, yeast, pepper, and clove. Taste is slightly sweet, strongly yeasty, gently bitter. Medium body, active carbonation, dry finish.

Excellent beer. A Top 10 beer. One of the better Belgian Trippels out there.
