Quite possibly the most amazing ale I have ever had. Truly makes you happy that you endured the somewhat high pricetag. Clean tasting, not-too-heavy, sweet-but-not-too-sweet finish, great non-hoppy aroma. Even beer haters love this ale. Must be tried. Turdferguson23 (2) - USA - NOV 15, 2013 does not count
Excellent beer. A Top 10 beer. One of the better Belgian Trippels out there. Jszetela (9) - - DEC 28, 2013 does not count
UPDATED: JAN 1, 2014 This is one of my favorite tripels. Even people that don’t like good beer will love this. I’ve had a number of tripels from different breweries but this is by far the best. Get it on tap if you can. The aroma and palate are incredible. It is a must try. BrewBubba1 (1) - Warren, Michigan, USA - SEP 19, 2007 does not count
Wonderful aromas and delicous mouth-feel make this my all-time favorite beer. I can see why the BJCP Guidelines site this brew as a classic example of style! Chubbyc (1) - Michigan, USA - JUL 2, 2012 does not count

This is my number one favorite beer on earth. Can’t even tell that it has a high abv. Perfect for summertime. lunaticharness (183) - Torrance, California, USA - JUN 26, 2004
i fell in love with this thing... being that it was fucking $18 a six pack (you only live once) and a complete surprise!
huge belgian yeast backed aroma with lots of clove notes, nice orange yellow body with a thick creamy white head, huge syrup sweet crisp body with touches of deep rich orange flavor that was drying over the gentle bitterness of the hops definitely a stunner! patrickmach (1) - USA - OCT 17, 2005 does not count
This is a very sweet trippel with a clean crisp finish. It has a complete flavor through and through, and is the signature beer for the brewery. I rate this top of tops because I have been up there every week to get more. jhulett (12) - Farmington Hills, Michigan, USA - APR 28, 2014
Dingeman’s 2-Row Pilsen Malt ,1 lb. of light candi sugar per 5 gallons. WLP500 yeast provides nice fruitiness. Light saaz hops. The finest example of an American Tripel and one of my favorite all-time beers. Bill, Earl and company do a great job at Dragon mead. proc (342) - Dearborn, Michigan, USA - FEB 23, 2003
A truly wondeful beer. Sampled several times over at the Polar Beer Fest. A nice presence of clove, nutmeg and pepper spice up this yeasty, malty treat. This is a liquid meal that is filling and satisfying. Complex and delicious. A beer to have when you are having one. Well-done.
