This is the ultimate Belgian style. The very high gravity of this beer is balanced by the smoothness of its finish. Banana and Clove aromas come from the Belgian yeast strain combining with the generous dose of Belgian Candi Sugar. The Saaz hops help to give this beer a balanced bitterness with no noticeable hop aroma.

Bottle from HOTD Dave. Typical trippel characteristics of sweet malts, spice, vanilla, belgian twang, buttery...fruits, especially banana. Pleasant warmth and highly drinkable for its size. But, in the end, this style isn’t my thing. Dave - this is like you with barleywine. Ho-hum.

Pours clear amber with a thin but serviceable eggshell head. Aroma features tangy pomme and tropical fruit on a fresh malt underpinning. Flavor delivers sweetish fruit, fresh malt, and a sharp alcohol bite that warns you this is a big beer. Mouthfeel presents decent body and fizz. Get your absolution in a glass.

Draft. Aroma: Yeasty, slight spice note. App: Golden brown, little head. Taste: A lot sweeter than expected, alcohol on the finish. Palate: Medium body, long finish. Overall: Good but not spectacular

Smell of yeast, hop, malt, orange, caramel. Murky dark orange color, thick white crown. Taste of sweet, high carbonated, some spice, balanced hop. Slightly slimy texture. Good imitation of Belgium trippel. Almost there. Good beer overall.

Tap at CK Diggs, Mi. Pours dark yellow orange, white head. Aroma is lemon, banana, clove, honey, esters, booze. Flavor is honey, booze, clove, banana, Estery Belgian notes, Belgian spice. Solid. Would get it again.

Homer321 (5207) - Melboring, Florida, USA - DEC 26, 2015
Bottle from the rotter. Pours with a HUGE white head; hazy orange pour. Nose is very strong in peppery phenolics. Taste is lightly sweet, some honey, finished with a light alcohol warming. Overall good but a tad to sweet and lacking in esters. Too much pepper.

markas101 (2509) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - DEC 18, 2015
Bottle, Ann Arbor, MI via Plum Market. Deep gold, very little head. Strong yeast aroma with alcohol and banana. Thick, sweet, balanced with hops and honey battling for position. Sweetness wins out in the end. Maybe too sweet for me in the end but nice nonetheless.

Wonderful Triple.
Clear golden color with a white head. Aroma of banana and pears. Complex flavors of banana, pears and Belgian candi sugar. Nice balance that masks the 10% ABV.

Johnsense (1775) - - NOV 30, 2015
Amber pour, huge gusher upon opening. Bubblegum, banana and clove aroma and taste. No booze detected. Medium body.

katrinaez (2312) - norristown, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 21, 2015
Bubble gum flavor to that Belgium kick. Dark yellow color. Nice fruit ripe banana scent, but also odd plastic. Sweet but not overdone. Coats the tongue in sweet. Tap
