Keg @ Dragonmead. Gold pour with a small head. Fairly bready, soft nose. Some apricot. Flavor is slightly toasty. A bit of soap. Light body, soft carb. deyholla (12582) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - NOV 3, 2017
Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a slightly hazy light yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has straw and grass with a good amount of hay. Flavor has a good amount of earthy straw and grains with some butter underlying. Ferris (17070) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 12, 2014
Draft - Light sweet grains. Cloudy pale yellow and rich white head. Light sweet grains with a dry grainy finish. Refreshing and more grain than sweetness. Nice. tectactoe (3125) - Michigan, USA - JAN 8, 2014
UPDATED: NOV 12, 2014 Tap @ Dragonmead: Dight, yellow-gold color with a tiny bit of chunky white foam on top that turns into a mere collar in just moments. Aroma has notes of cereal grains, mineral water, slightly spicy Noble hops, bread & biscuits, & a faint skunkiness. Taste has some slight skunk to it, too. Grainy pilsner malt, cereal, dry bread, & a little bitter sting in the finish from the hops. Perhaps a touch of lemon-y spritz in the afterthought, but it could use a tad more. OK Kolsch, though it would be better without the strange skunk to it... & no, I’m not confusing skunk with DMS. JoeMcPhee (10129) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 3, 2010
Tap at Dragonmead. Pale golden pour. Lightly hoppy with a light touch of amber malt character as well. A little bit sweet and worty smelling. Grainy and quite cereal-like with some lingering sweetness. Not very clean but not really estery either. A little bit minerally and herbal with a kiss of light bitterness. Grassy but not really well-integrated. More pale lager than kolsch.

This was nice lighter beer by Drangonmeads standards. It had a nice palate and you could taste the different ingrediants, the appearnace was really good. zdk (1917) - New York, New York, USA - SEP 6, 2010
Tap @ Dragonmead - Hazy, murky yellow. bready malts, yeasty dry and crackery. Cottony, flavorless hops. Malt bomb. Barely deserves to be called a kolsch. Drake (14332) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 26, 2010
Served on draft at Hopcat in Grand Rapids. Pours a slightly hazy lemon yellow color with a large head. Good head retention and lacing. Fruity aroma with notes of apples, caramel and pale malts. The taste is sweet grainy notes, light grassy hops and a fruity finish. Medium bodied. Decent. LilBeerDoctor (4229) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 19, 2010
On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear golden yellow with a white head. Aroma of bready malt and light fruits. Flavor sweet malt, slight diacetyl, and sweet fruit. A chill beer, very drinkable, but certainly on the sweet side.

4-30-08 on tap. Straw with huge rocky head. Funny description claims no aroma, but first thing in my notes, ’great hallertau aroma", pils malt background. Very clean. Flavor much the same, nice balance between hallertau, maybe some spicy saaz character, and pils malt with some light toast/biscuit. Prickly carbonation. Well done, easy drink.
