Ahhh, a brown ale, one of lifes simple pleasures. This one was as enjoyable as most with a nice roasted malt flavor. Some smoke added an interesting touch. This brown was smoother than most and even creamy in the mouth.

GTMW sample. Hazy brown body. Dry brown malt aroma. Slightly hoppy (English-style) dry brown malt flavor. A well-made but dull beer.

pours a dark brown with light tan head. From the cask, it was very flat, no carbonation. this hurt the beer. little taste and scent to be recognized.
