Chill hazed amber with a very large creamy slowly faded head. Aroma of grains, malt and toffee. Taste of mild fruit, caramel malt and mild pepper. Fizzy with a hint of bitterness. superspak (6492) - Waterford, Michigan, USA - DEC 19, 2012
12 ounce bottle into pint glass, no bottle dating. Loud crack upon opening yields insanely high carbonation into the glass, this took a while to pour. Pours hazy dark reddish copper color with a huge 2 finger fluffy off white head with insane retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Spotty foamy lacing clings to the glass, with a ton of streaming carbonation. Aromas of caramel, raisin, toffee, toast, bread, floral, and herbal hops. Pretty nice aromas with solid strength and balance. Taste of caramel, toast, toffee, raisin, bread, light pine, floral, herbal, and earthy spiciness. Decent amount of earthy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of caramel, toast, raisin, toffee, bread, light pine, and earthy spiciness on the finish for a short bit. Solid balance of flavors and fairly robust feeling for 4.8%; zero cloying flavors on the finish. Quite dry on the finish as expected from the high carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a lightly creamy and very crisp mouthfeel that is ok. I swirled a lot of the carbonation out of this one on purpose. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a solid ESB. This was probably infected, but the taste didn’t seem to be affected that badly. In the end it was pretty tasty, I had no problems finishing the glass. TaktikMTL (8012) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 10, 2012

Sampler at The Mondial de la biere 2012 in Montréal.The color is amber with a thick beige head. The aroma is of malt some hops herbs. The taste also of malt very herbal, the sweetness of caramel. This was very different for me as an E.S.B. but very good. Lubiere (14429) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 15, 2012
A dark copper amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, a smooth herbal malt with grassy hops, light veggie notes. In mouth, a sweet herbal caramel malt with light grassy hops, not bad. Bottle at Mondial 2012, June 10 2012.

12oz bottle from The Beer Depot in Ann Arbor, MI. Pours a clear, deep brown with a ruby tint. Big, three finger-width, foamy, off-white head that collapses slowly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is fairly malty with some richer caramel, grainy toast, nuts, and a light herbal hop. Flavor is pretty solid. Lots of rich caramel and grainy malts up front with some crystal sweetness and nuts before a solid, pretty firm herbal character comes in. A light grass and toast comes out more towards the end as this finishes with a nice mix of herbal hops and grainy, rich caramels. The herbal hops are fairly bold, but not excessively bitter. They leave a medium bitterness. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium body and a medium-high carbonation. Overall, a nicely flavored ESB. A bit over-carbonated and the aroma is more about the malts, but this was tasty and enjoyable enough. chibuck (3521) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 26, 2011
bottle... way to carbonated, can’t even pour more than a couple onces without a huge light tan gushing head going everywhere, super lasting and reminds me of a rootbeer float head falling down... milky creamy nose with skunk, something is way off here, a bit of wet dog hops as well... tastes equally bad, a bit of caramel but mostly wet dog, just bad
