Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours black with a dark brown head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has roasted malts and light chocolate with dark grains supporting. Flavor has bitter chocolate with dark grains and roasted malts supporting.

Taps dark chocolate with a good light tan head that leaves good lacing. Aroma presents sweet chocolate, roast malt, and a hint of coffee. Flavor delivers chocolate, roast malt and coffee - tasty! Mouthfeel features good body and jazzy fizz. Oompa Loompa loompidy doo, I've got a lovely beer for you!

Pours a dark brown with a thin off-white head. Aroma is coffee, roast, some chocolate, and milky lactose. Flavor is milky lactose, subtle coffee, roast, caramel, and chocolate. Has some carbonation and a light body. A bit heavy on the lactose, but not bad.

Draft - Roast malts and bittersweet chocolate. Deep brown with almost no head. Toasted malts and some dark fruits with a fairly dry finish. Very toasty, but not that tasty.

On cask. Aroma is very chocolaty with a touch of burnt marshmallows. Appears dark brown, nearly black, opaque, a frothy caramel colored head, minimal lace. Tastes of bitter-sweet dark chocolate and a touch of bitter burnt toast. Palate is a bit watery for a stout. Overall, very good, I prefer this over KBS for chocolate stouts.

On cask at brewey. Beautiful dark pour, thin tan head fades into white. Super chocolatey nose. Decent creamyy mouthfeel of rich dark chocolate, mild raisin character.

Tap: super deep brown body, nearly black with a khaki colored layer of foam that resides softly on top. Aroma is somewhat generic for the style, with typical notes of roasted malts, dark chocolate malt, a hint of lactose-y sweetness, & an overall nutty tone in the finish. Taste is much the same; chocolate, slightly bitter but mostly milky sweet with some nuts, roast, & faint coffee bean in the finish.
