This is a true West Coast IPA–it is pale in color, with with bracing bitterness, high alcohol content (about 7.3% abv) and a fruity/floral/citrus hop aroma. It is made from a simple malt bill: North American base and pale caramel malt. We use copious amounts of Northwest hops all throughout the boil, with most of it going in within the last 15 minutes. After fermentation is complete, we dry hop it with approximately 1 boatload of each of the same hop varieties. 16.5°

Medium-dark gold color. Flavor is herbaceous, a bit of citrus, low malt sweetness - definitely very West Coast. Could use better malt balance. I'm not a fan of the malt and hops used, so I'm biased, so keep that in mind. This is decent, but not worthy of a mid-90s score. Mid-80s is my thought. It's definitely a good IPA, as long as you're a fan of the style.

For my taste buds, Dragoon IPA is some seriously crushable hoppiness. It has a yellow-gold color and a pretty layer of white aromatic foam. Floral and pithy citrus hop aromatics. Juicy, lemony, herbaceous, and piney flavors. There's a lot of bitterness in here. It's bright and chewy. If given the chance, this is something that I would keep on hand.

On tap at the State Bar, Flagstaff, AZ. Pours cloudy orange with white head. Some vague hops, stale, malty, some bitternes in finish. Medium bodied. Not good. I wonder what went wrong here.

Great fresh hop aroma with just a touch of malt sweetness. Very pretty dark gold color with a huge clingy white head. Hop bite up front that is short lived; I wanted more. The flavor and palate are a little watery. Good IPA but I don’t think it deserves 96’s.

5/6/17. 16oz can thanks to ibrew2or3! Crisp orange pour with a nice khaki head, nice khaki. Awesome aroma, dank as all hell. Good flavor, dank lingers a ton, mild bitterness, some caramel. Tasty!

16oz can thanks to Rick. Medium golden with small foamy head.Mild but straight forward IPA, Hops first, nice malt backbone behind. Not one s=thing stand out, instead all of the parts just add up to a really well done whole.
