COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our flagship amber ale is brewed with English malt, hops and yeast. The extra malt lends a lightly toasted, chocolate flavor, a tawny color, and a smooth, rich character; it's perfect for sipping one or enjoying many.

I’m a huge Drake’s fan.... Also a huge amber fan, so this beer could do no wrong! It’s not the best I’ve ever had, by a long shot, but it’s a great beer to have that change of pace from the shit beers on tap in most bars.

On tap at the brewery. Pours deep amber with an off-white head. Aroma of floral hops, pale and caramel malts, and some dough. Flavor the same. Average texture. A decent beer.

Aroma is toffee, mild butterscotch, malts and a hint of earthiness. The flavor is toffee/caramel, fruit, citrus and a tart/malty finish.

Full bodied aroma that features malt and molasses. A dark amber color and a slightly thick palate make me glad it is a bit foggy today. The flavor is close to toasted rice and dried stone fruit. And a hint of black tea. Very good ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Aroma of dried apricot and molasses, dark amber color, light crisp and short sweet/savory taste. Lingering brown rice finish. Solid beer that’s complex enough to be respected and light enough to be pint worthy.

Deep malty aromas. Delicious but simple malt with oaken flavors. Lightly roasted with some subtle hoppy undertones.

On tap at the Hilltop. Pours an amber brown color without much head. Lots of hops and maltiness.

12oz bottle from Bytemesis, Thanks Mike. This is an amber but also has ESB on the label so I’m a touch confused, but the taste and aroma lead me more to amber. decent beer but i’m finding little touches of sweet toffee like flavors, not sure about that.

mrhoppy (1288) - Santa Clara, California, USA - JUN 2, 2013
Bitter hoppy malty toasty. Most ambers are big on the caramel and pretty mellow. Not this one!

Jcarb28 (97) - Pico Rivera, California, USA - MAY 25, 2013
Poured a dark copper brown. Light sweet aromas with a bit of a nutty taste and a big toasty taste on the palate. Finishes with a toasty nutty flavor. Not Not too big on this amber.
