Bottle [from Secret Santa 2015] shared with Joes. Clear golden color, medium to full sized off-white head that lasts for quite a while and leaves good lacing. Aroma is moderately malty, good hops, lightly grassy, some pine. Taste malts, hops, quite grassy, firm pine and resin, firm to heavy bitter. A bit sticky texture. Medium body and carbonation. tightslice (1354) - Redwood City, California, USA - AUG 13, 2015
Bottle from Whole Foods Market in Redwood City, CA. Aroma is pine, guava, grapefruit, dank earth. Taste is the same with some honey notes mixed in. Very aromatic (as the name implies) and refreshing. Zymurgeist2 (2296) - Redwood City, California, USA - AUG 8, 2015
Another great offering from drakes from bomber to pint glass. Massive citrus that is well balanced by the pine. PhillyCraft (7375) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 24, 2015
On tap, orange golden color with medoum sized head and lacing. Notes of Citra and cascade coming through nicely with some grapefruit, orange skin, and caramel malt. Medoum bodied solid ipa. djd07 (15094) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUN 10, 2015
Bottle. Pours a clear orange with medium frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is strong floral hop and tropical fruit. Medium mouth, sweet caramel, honey, dark fruit, citrus hop with resin finish, very nice.

Bottle. Pours hazy orange with fluffy white head. Nose is orange and tangerine. Taste is orange and grapefruit. Lasting bitterness in the aftertaste. manuelMTL (240) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 22, 2014
Pour is clear golden with a huge frothy white head. The nose is grapefruit, citrus and some toastiness. Taste is loads of citrus and grapefruit, some grassy hops with a long pine bitterness. Pretty dry for an IPA. Low carbonation! Well done West Coast IPA! lightbias (453) - USA - DEC 13, 2014
Not as much of a hop nose as I thought I would get from this brew, but surely a nice hoppy aroma coming from the glass. Poured from a bomber into a tulip, the hazy, light-gold liquid is capped with a dense, soft, and off-white foam. My senses tell me caramel apples until I take the first mouthful, and then a grapefruit/resin takes over the show. Bitter and deep, the mouth feel is actually a little too dry for my taste, but only by a hair. The head is spectacular, despite the 20 minute wait from pour to finish; still dense, thick and crawling up the glass in a thick wave...lacing to the top.
The taste is moderately bitter, and seems to block the flavor that should be there, considering that aroma. The Citra hops seem to be non-existent in the flavor profile and that’s just sad, because there is no fruit or floral bend at all. I’m a little disappointed in this and am wondering if maybe it’s just been treated badly. I’ll try it again. User277626 (112) - - DEC 7, 2014
Cloudy orange pour, modest white head. Very forward aroma (go figure) of pine and grapefruit. Lots of citrusy, bitter hop flavors mixing around, perhaps a bit unbalanced as the malt definitely stays in the background. I love over the top IPA’s so this one is a winner but probably not everyone’s style. Ibrew2or3 (8660) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - OCT 20, 2014
Enjoyed at gabf 2014. It pours with a clear gold body that supports a near white head. The aroma offers up tangerine and clementine citrus hops that are very inviting and bordered thinly by a bit of sweet malts and faint spicy dankness. The taste comes across spicy and dank with onions as well as wedges of tangerine and clementine citrus hoppy goodness. This offers up easy drinking deliciousness with well balanced flavor and bitter hops. I could stand here in line and drink this until they kick me out.
