Inky black color with a light brown head of foam. Aromas of dark chocolate fudge, rich caramel, brown sugar, cassis, and rocky road ice cream. Flavors of bold cocoa truffle, more rich caramel, and dry dark roast coffee. Whiskey barrel character is moderate. vtafro (7445) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - APR 19, 2017

Bottle. Poured a black color with a smaller sized off white head. Woody, earthy, bourbon, vanilla, chocolate, and roast. katrinaez (2139) - norristown, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 30, 2016
Dark black body with medium foamy head. Smells potent and boozy. Strong bourbon taste, that overwhelms the stout just a bit. Medium mouthfeel. Bottle.

At Seattle tasting. Deepest brown, creamy foam. Depth on aroma. Rich syrup, little soy, spritely. Brown ale, a little hops, a little cherry. Little vanilla wax. Solid. slowrunner77 (12471) - Reno, Nevada, USA - NOV 22, 2015
2015 bourbon BA Drakonic. Moderate to heavy barrel. Very smooth, with fudge, oak, booze and vanilla. Good stuff :) CampesinoTino (800) - Seattle, Washington, USA - AUG 8, 2015
Corked and Caged 2015 Vintage Bottle (1 Pint, .9 Fluid Ounces) of Drakonic Imperial Stout Aged in Bourbon Barrels. 11.4% ABV. Black tar pour with a sudsy layer of mocha foam. Big notes of charred malt, molasses, bittersweet chocolate, bourbon barrel and coffee in the aroma. Flavor starts with a heavy dose of roasted malt, dark chocolate fudge and espresso along with some vanilla and bourbon toward the end. Mouthfeel is moderately dense and creamy with low carbonation and more chocolate and char in the finish. Definitely one of the more decadent BB Imperial Stouts. Good stuff.
