Tasted on tap at the Drake Barrel House on 2/16/2013. This wild/sour ale pours a medium brown color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, tart and funky. A medium bodied sour/wild ale. The malts are fruity and sweet, tart and slightly funky. Decent carbonation. Nice balance between the fruit and the sour. Very drinkable. Touch of wood and a touch of funk, slightly dry. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet with some dryness.
Tasted on tap at the Bistro Barrel Aged Beer Festival on 11/15/2008. This sour ale poured a medium brown color from the tap. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is caramel and soft, fruity and bretty. A medium bodied sour ale. The malts are caramel, fruity and sweet. The hops are earthy and floral. Touch of funk, horse blanket and must. The funk is kind of subdued but adds a nice presence to an amber ale. Not as funky as I thought it might be but it works. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly funky.

On tap. Cloudy orangish red with a creamy off white head. Sharp acidic green apple, lemon, and caramel aroma. Creamy bright medium bodied palate. Taste is more mellow and complex than the aroma suggests. Tastes of caramel, grape, wine, green apple, and lemon with a tart dry finish with vanilla, oak, and cherry flavors on the back end. bvc (1242) - Washington, USA - FEB 15, 2013
Draft at drakes. Pours a lightly hazed bright light copper with dense even white head. Slighty tart, dusty Brett blanket funk, cherry and apple fruitiness. Carbonation is light but tight and even feeling. Dry, nuetral oak, slight chalkiness, bright rainier cherry sweet and tartness going on, touch of caramel malt. Pretty solid beer.
