Deep clear amber color, small steady off-white head. Caramel, riped fruits and some alcohol in the nose. Medium-bodied. Fruity and a bit alcoholic with light hop oilyness. Strong and mellow but lacks real hop kick, maybe not so fresh.
Pour is a hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma Is a ok fruity hop with a little honeysuckle and caramel malt. Flavor is hoppy but way more malt heavy. It’s not a sweet malt but more of a dry heavy malt. This is not hoppy enough for me to be considered a double IPA. No alcohol is felt but again not much of a hop presence. One of this beers that 10 years ago would have been world class but palates change and some of the newer DIPA’s blow this out of the water as far as fruity hops. Chadhami (152) - - APR 29, 2017
