On tap at Drakes. It pours a nice clear amber color with a white head. The aroma is malty/grainy with some hints of noble hops. The flavor has more multi-grain maltiness with just a touch of hops. The body is rather full for the style and a bit oily, which is kinda weird. Otherwise, the flavors are spot on. Very nice. marcus (10483) - Sacramento, California, USA - SEP 12, 2014
On tap at Drakes. Pours copper with a nice beige head and a smoky aroma. There is a hearty red malt flavor with a dry bitter smoky finish. AirForceHops (7546) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - AUG 15, 2014
Draft sample. Amber color without head. Aroma is straight vienna malts with a light herbal note. Flavor is a straight up Vienna lager. Classic and true to the style. AdamChandler (5113) - Enfield, New Hampshire, USA - AUG 15, 2014
aka oaked vienna on cask
Dark bloody brown. No head. Nose is nice. Spicy with peppercorn and birch wood. Dried raisins as well. Creamy mouthfeel. Raisins and currants. Nice overall. Would have again Dogbrick (13398) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - AUG 11, 2014
Sample at Drake’s during First Fridays.Clear dark amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to a wispy film. Short strings of lacing. Roasted malt, yeast and hops in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of earthy malt, caramel and slight fruit. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.
