[2/17/15] Draught at The Libertine Pub in Morro Bay. Black with a beige head. Roasty aroma with some chocolate and a bit of coffee. Roasty flavor with a bit of chocolate and coffee. Slightly watery nitro mouthfeel. slowrunner77 (12051) - Reno, Nevada, USA - AUG 16, 2014
pretty ho hum, especially for Drake’s. Had in a small tasting lineup where it was the obvious weakest link. Nothing wrong with it at all, but nothing stands out. You’ll like it about as much as you like the style. nitro." AirForceHops (7243) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - AUG 15, 2014
Draft. Aroma is old coffee grounds and hints chocolate. Lighter in body with dry texture flavor is yet again, true to style. Chocolate, caramel, and light coffee nuance. Dry roast character. yep... if you have had one dry stout, you have had them all.

Dark brown to black
Charcoal and chocolate nose with a mild pine bitterness. Lots of chocolate. Very bitter. Creamy with some milk and woody notes. Underwhelming. kaser (6312) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 3, 2014
Poured from draft at Barrelhouse 101 in Ventura, California. Tons of brown head. Super foamy and frothy. Choclate. Nutty. I love this one. Smooth beer cameroncdavid (8) - - APR 9, 2014 does not count
Not a bad stout. Not as dry as the name lets on. Nice burnt nutty taste. Inviting head.

I had this on a nitro tap so my experience might be skewed. Dark almost black color with a creamy tan head. Light creamy nutty scents. Bitter coffee nuttiness oh so creamy from that nitro. Bitter residue of cold coffee. joeneugs (6371) - Livermore, California, USA - JUL 13, 2013
On draft at the Barrel House. Nitro pour. Black in color with a dense, creamy, nitro head. The aroma is awesome with rich chocolate and mocha coffee roast. The flavor is the same. Smooth full body with dark chocolate and roasted coffee. Very rich, yet drinkable. The board at the Barrel House said this was 4.8% ABV… tasted bigger to me, but I could session this. Totally tasty. Kicks the pants off Guinness or any other dry stout I’ve had.
