14 ounce sample on tap at Lowbrau. Aroma is herbal, spicy, and has some citrus orange and pine hop notes. Hazy golden brown body with a small, whitish head. Starts with a sharp, herbal hop bitterness. Some rye flavor also comes through to start. A little thin in the middle. Finishes with piney hop flavors. A pretty good session. A little thin. On draught at Drake’s during First Fridays. Pours a clear bright golden color with a medium white head that evaporates steadily to an outer ring. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, citrus and midly spiced rye malt. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, fruit and toasted malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a grassy hops aftertaste. Decent overall. joeneugs (6371) - Livermore, California, USA - AUG 3, 2014
On tap at the Faction Ales for ALS festival. It pours a deep golden color with an off white head. The aroma has some rich caramel and spicy hops with some rye malt depth. The flavor is more citrusy with hints of tropical fruit with a spicy, and malty finish. Light bodied. Just ok.
