COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We leave the yeast in our authentic Bavarian-style wheat beer to give it a cloudy appearance and creamy texture. This spicy, fruity beer has hints of clove and banana and is crafted for easy drinking.

As a fan of Hefes, I don’t really enjoy this beer. Overall, it seems weak in flavor and aroma. Plus it has a weird aftertaste that I can’t really describe in words.

Bottle from The Bottle Shop Bermondsey and drunk at home. Hazy gold colour lasting white head. Banana ester aroma Good mouthfeel. Just those bigger bubbles you seem to get on hefe. Simple fruity hefe rather than herby. Hops are quite soft too. Not overly bitter. It’s quite easy drinking. It’s fine drinkable enough without being challenging. Would like a bit more character. A light hefe.

On tap at Straw Hat Pizza. Straw yellow in color, slight clove aroma and taste. Definitely a German Wheat and not an American Style Wheat as it had nice clove and banana taste. Light and refreshing.

Traditional banana clove aroma, more on clove side, wheat and breadiness Pours a hazy light golden color with big fluffy white head Banana in flavor with wheaty tanginess, subtle clove spice. Well balanced Light bodied with high co2, sweet lingering banana clove finish. Very good. Refreshing and interesting. I could drink these all day. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Had a pint of this beer in a bar in San Francisco. The beer had a cloudy straw-lemon color with a modest white foamy head that has average retention, cling, and lacing. It’s aroma featured banana, straw, grain, and some light floral scents,. The taste was mostly sweet, featuring banana, straw, fruit, and other grains, and a slightly sour finish. It had a fairly wet mouthfeel with low carbonation and a smooth, easy finish.

[2/4/16] Draught at Firewood Grill in San Francisco Airport. Cloudy shiny pale yellow. Aroma is yeasty, slightly soapy, with phenolic spiciness, and fruity esters, a bit citric. Rather dry flavor, slightly tart, with fruity esters (banana, citrus), and some spiciness. Medium-bodied. Pretty nice and thirst-quenching.

Bottle pour at Terun in Palo Alto, CA. Aroma / Taste is light banana, citrus, lemon. One of the better Hefe’s I’ve had.

On tap at SFO airport. Big aroma of banana, lemon, and spice. Excellent creamy vanilla, banana, lemon, and clove taste. Best american hefe I’ve had? Maybe!
