(On tap @ Bottlecraft Liberty Station, SD, April 1/17) Pours amber with a decent sized white head, nearly clear. Aroma of pale pit fruit, mixed citrus, pine resin, slightly floral and tropical, nice rich hops overwhelming the malt. The flavour is fairly fruit-forward - more peaches, orange, some tropical notes, a fair amount of pine and resin, pretty robust caramel malt core, somewhat sweet but kind of juicy, building up pine and floral resin notes in the finish to hit an above average level of bitterness, sticky, very slight alcohol. Medium-full body, average but fine carbonation. A little old school, malty West Coast in style but it’s well done and well-hopped. Solid. tightslice (1415) - Redwood City, California, USA - APR 8, 2017
Bottle from Safeway in Redwood City, CA. Aroma is pine, grapefruit peels. Taste is grapefruit marmalade with some sweet pine notes. Extremely well-balanced sweet and bitter. PugUglyBrewer (765) - - MAR 18, 2017
Pours a clean golden color with a settled fluffy head of creamy white head. Stone fruit and bright citrus dominate the aroma with a balanced malt base allowing the hops to shine through easily. Dank hops evolve to a dry pine finish. kryon (3808) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - FEB 11, 2017

UPDATED: SEP 21, 2016 Bomber - It pours a semi cloudy rich golden yellow with a thick soapy off white head that easily laces my glass. I love the big citrus and piney hop aroma that blasts the olifactory senses with a mouthwatering juicy bitterness. Delicious and massive IPA here of mostly citrus peel and a bit of pine resin collaborating with a caramel malt to make a hopocalypse on my palate. trapped (3484) - New York, TURKEY - MAY 23, 2016

Bottle from a trade with Michael (misterburd) -- cheers, buddy! This is a big beer, so much so that once it warmed it I started thinking that maybe I was drinking a hoppy barleywine, but even as a big DIPA it is delicious. Definitely an old school, West Coast style DIPA -- a lot more balanced, a lot more bitter than the hop bombs that I’m used to out here in New England -- but excellent.
