Clear dark amber color, steady beige head. Aroma has pine needle hoppyness, toffee and hints of licorice and alcohol. Medium to full bodied. Front is salty then slightly toffeish maltyness leading to piney and resiny finish and aftertaste. Ryeish notes. A bit alcoholic. Powerful but simplish.

bomber from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours dark ruddy copper with a creamy off-white head that tried to lace. Aroma of darker bread with a hint of treacle. Med body. Flavor isn’t sticky sweet, but it’s dark brown sugar, a little heat, and some damn strong hop. This doesn’t finish like a relaxing sipper. This ale is strongly bitter - yet allows the odd sweet note (treacle for one) to pop out once in awhile. Good stuff. Ratman197 (15376) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - MAR 8, 2013

Flavors of carmel, peach, earthiness, pine and grapefruit with a smooth lingering earthy finish. Theis (15151) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 31, 2013
