On tap at the barrel house. Pours clear yellow with a rich white head and a standard floral pils aroma. There is a rich yeasty pale malt flavor with some citrus and a sharp bitter finish. Quite a bit of flavor for a relatively low abv beer. joeneugs (6371) - Livermore, California, USA - OCT 23, 2011
On draft at the barrel house. It pours bright yellow with a tall snow white head. The aroma is very grainy, like hot wort with some lemongrass and a hint of noble hops. The flavor is light, dry and hoppy. A bit lifeless which keeps this from a being a top notch pils, but still very nice fresh example of the style. On tap at the Brewer’s Barrel Room. Pours with a very clear, pale yellow body with a thick and lasting white head. Aromas are very nice. Bready, grainy with a bit of honey. A touch of dms, light herbal hop aromas. Clean. Flavors are grassy, herbal, bready, straw. Clean. Noticeable mineral character. Quite bitter on the palate. Medium to lively bubbles. A bit thin and dry.
