At the Beercentricity event at Barbara’s at the Brewery. Pours a light orange. I get a blast of dill followed by a light butter note. On draft at Drakes. It pours a rather clear pale yellow with a great nose of sour stone fruit, peaches, apricots with supporting pinot character and hints of coconut from the wood. Floral and a little sweet fruitiness to slightly set off the intense sour. The flavor is really great. Peachy, sour goodness with present pinot and barrel. Brett and funk is subdued but adds a nice complexity to the finish. Little to no vinegar. It has a punchy, lactic sour finish with a hint of spicy. Wonderful. Maybe the best sour I’ve had from Drakes.
