From a 50 cl bottle thanks to Suzie. Pours a deep cola with a tan head. Aroma of bourbon, oak and vanilla. Flavors are intensive sweet caramel and molasses. Sweet and cloying, but alcohol is well hidden. Homer321 (5270) - Melboring, Florida, USA - JUN 8, 2017
Bottle from a trade. Nearly black pour. Small off white head. Tons of toffee in the nose. Modest alcohol. Slight paper. Some fusels. Taste is interesting. Complex. Let me work on this. Lots of slick vanilla sweetness. Modest evaporation of alcohol off the tongue. Definite warming in the ears. Soft caramel in the finish. Seemingly sweet and unbalanced. Needs some dang bitterness to balance. This is borderline cloying. Very glad I split this 375ml but wish it was with more people. Good but not drinkable. Like. Two ounces is perfect. Any more is unnecessary. anders37 (28075) - Malmö, SWEDEN - APR 23, 2017

On tap T Capitol Beer & Tap Room. Pours near black with a thick tan head and a chocolate aroma. There is a rich dark molasses and chocolate flavor with a long warm bourbon finish. Delicious. slowrunner77 (13591) - Reno, Nevada, USA - FEB 9, 2015
Perhaps a little over the top w the barreling, but...I had this side by side with bourbon county barely wine and the similarities are too many to ignore. Color, sweet nose and flavor. Gotta be he same barrel. Even the Abv is similar. So, this BCBW clone is a nice super sweet supper. joeneugs (6372) - Livermore, California, USA - FEB 7, 2015
On tap at Drakes. It pours a ruddy brown color with a khaki head. The aroma has lots of rich caramel, toffee, vanilla, raisin, fig, etc... good. The flavor is super sweet with spicy bourbon notes, caramel, vanilla, and port-like alcohol. A dessert beer all the way. No fusels or other off-flavors. A couple ounces of this is delish, but anything more would be a chore. brokensail (16696) - Dublin, California, USA - JAN 5, 2015
On tap @ Drakes. Dark brown/mahogany pour with a khaki head. Smells like bourbon. A lot of port and sweet dark fruits, caramel, and rich toffee. A hint of chocolate, a bunch of vanilla, and booze. Flavor is pretty much the same thing. A whole lot of fruity and sugary sweetness. Bourbon and sweet dessert wine dominate. Big time vanilla and caramelized sugars. Pretty nice, but even a taster pour of this is quite a bit.
