Pours almost black with a small off-white/tan head. Definitely some vinegar. Tart fruit notes such as cherry and blackberry. Maybe a bit of port. The flavor is similarly vinegary. On tap at Drakes Barrel House poured a clear dark reddish brown with a small lingering tan head. Aromasof port, roasted malt, light dark chocolate and a hint of coffee. A - Dark black with a thin finger of chocolate colored frothy head with a bit of red. Fades slowly with some nice lacing.
S - Big roasted and burnt chocolate malts with some sour notes and some dark grape. Bit of booze comes through.
T - Big red grape and sour notes with some roasted chocolate malt in the background. Through the middle, some stronger malt character comes through when some more sourness and some oak. The finish is a mix of sour flavor, some dark grape, and some roasted chocolate that lingers.
M - Full bodied moderate carbonation. Nice and sour with some warming as it finishes.

On draft at the Barrel House. It pours black with a brown head. The aroma is strong with sour wine and acetic acid vinegar. Not much roasted malt except for hints of cocoa and wood. On tap at the barrel house. Pours dark brown with a decent tan head and a strong bourbon and chocolate aroma. There is a sour dark malt flavor witih some plum and a warming bourbon trail.
