A quite nice porter. Pours a deep black with tan head. Smells of s'mores, and a bit of coffee and vanilla. Taste is very creamy and milky, with some coffee in the finish. bb (9241) - Alamo, California, USA - OCT 4, 2011

Draft at Beer Revolution for the John Martin tribute event. It pours dark brown with a nice tan head. The aroma has huge dark chocolate and cocoa powder notes and a bit of dry toast. Very toasty and chocolaty. The flavor has tons of dark bitter chocolate and burnt toast with a dry roasted bitter finish. Another overpowering brew from Drakes that focuses more on the chocolate than the beer. I liked it, but I have to admit a pint was way too much to handle. Very good chocolate beer though, if you like that kind of thing.
