COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
2 beers in a one single-barrel blend of American Red and Porter cellared in a Port Barrel (Praeger Portworks, 2006 Royal Escort Port Barrel) Havenít figured out which type of surround sound it is yet, but the beer is definitely echoing its ancestor from port right into beerdom.

Draft. Mahogony beer with a light tan head. Port and malt aroma with light darker males. Port and toffee flavor with light chocolate. Medium-plus bodied. Port and toffee lingers with light chocolate.

On tap at the Bistro Barrel Aged Fest 2010. Pours dark brown from the pitcher with reddish hues and a small light tan head. The aroma is decently promising with roast, coffee, port, oak, and soured dark fruit notes. The flavor is mildly sweet as well as tart. Roasty porter flavors, along with sweet and sour port and oak barrel. Not as flavorful as Iíd like, and a little plasticky even. Medium bodied with average carbonation and mild astringency. Overall above average but not too impressive.

Pours dark reddish brown with a tan head. Dark fruit and lite coffee and chocolate. The flavor is the same, but after the 3rd sip the finish goes plastic and band-aid like.
