Tap at Anchor and Hope RB Best of Bay release... Pour is a light clear gold with a nice two finger white head. Aroma is christmas tree.. heavy heavy pine, juniper berries, light citrus, grapefruit. Taste is pine, grapefruit, guava, mango, juniper berries with a lingering honey nut cherrios finish. As it warmed got even nicer. Great balance.. aroma is a bit misleading. Overall a spectacular, bold creation and thought it was an ambitious, creative brew. Highlight of SF beer week bvc (1244) - Washington, USA - FEB 15, 2013
Draft at drakes. Clean clear dingy honey golden, thin but tight lasting head. Nose is hop forward, but a different hop profile...piney, herbs, spice, juniper, more pine needles and pale malt. Piney Christmas tree hops, light juniper, cracker malt with just enough caramel in there to add a faint sweetness. Solid. thetmaxx (927) - West Sacramento, California, USA - FEB 10, 2013

Pours an amber gold color with a white head. Citrus, pine, floral and spruce aroma and flavors. Medium light body and average carbonation. Citrus and pine finish. joeneugs (6372) - Livermore, California, USA - FEB 28, 2013
On tap at Drakes. It pours a nice golden color with a white head. The aroma is surprisingly balanced with some noticeable foresty spruce and pine, but not overpowering the rest of the beer with some tropical fruit and light bready notes. The flavor is the same. Floral and woodsy, dry with some nice tropical notes and a soft, bready background. The body is lighter… kind of like an APA with not as much bitterness as I expected. I was a little worried when I heard the concept of this beer, but it turned out way better than I thought.

On tap at Best of the Bay at Anchor & Hope. Thefullpint article was right on. This shit is LITERALLY made with branches of Christmas trees. Aroma and flavor is pine, evergreen, pine needles, and whatever hops make that work. Despite the obviousness of the process, it's pretty damn good. One of the best there.

On tap at Capitol Beer, Sacramento. Pours cloudy amber with a thin beige head and a pine aroma. I swear this beer tastes like a pine tree. There is a resinous malty flavor with some honey and bread. It’s medium-bodied with a light perfumy finish. Complex and interesting. brokensail (16689) - Dublin, California, USA - FEB 2, 2016
On tap @ Drakes. Amber in color with some white foam. There’s a lot of citrus going on here, but certainly a good dose of pine and resinous hops, too. Some mild sweetness of toasted grains and caramel malts. Plenty of bitterness on the finish, maybe some herbal qualities, and bread. Light pineapple and orange marmalade flavors. Maybe a touch sticky. Pretty decent, though. bytemesis (9503) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - FEB 17, 2013
